Hall of the Creators¶
The Hall of the Creators is a sub-area in Keeper's Hall.
Overview¶
The Hall of the Creators was where the peasantry of Deeptower went to worship. Although the royalty and upper wizard echelons were largely unconcerned about pleasing the gods, the peasants pestered them until they caved in. For the priests, they built in a “miracle” parlour trick into the far door that would only seem godly to an uneducated lout.1
Although they are all using an identical model, the statues are: - Eztarr, goddess of agriculture - Gonim, goddess of sex and fertility - Eragras, goddess of the working man - Gaia, goddess of earth
For other gods, refer to the List of Gods.
Rotating Statue Puzzle¶
There are four statues in this room. Each have a number of candles at their base that correspond to the order the light passes through them. So, that means that Eztarr, who comes first, has one candle lit beneath her.

Realistically, wouldn’t it be incredibly annoying that this door requires a puzzle to open? If a peasant otherwise wanted to return to the spiral staircase which once connected all of Deeptower, they would have to walk all the way back to Keeper’s Landing. I imagine they kept it in a permanently “solved” state just so they didn’t have to deal with the trouble. Clearly the designers weren’t cognizant of ludonarrative dissonance. ↩
-
If you accidentally pull the lever multiple times, don’t worry. It can raise forever and you can't move it back down but the puzzle will still work as intended. The game's just checking if the lever has been pulled at all. ↩
